Tom Collins 15'3 Appendix Gelding - Solid Chestnut -2000. No vices - very willing - great work ethic. Evented for the past 2 years - always in the ribbons. Collin has also done the hunters, has his changes. Great mover, very easy in dressage and stadium, needs a confident rider on cross country (doesn't get strong or fast - just needs help focusing!)- perfect for junior or adult amateur will jump anything you put him in front of and will never touch a rail/fence (See USEA record) Sweet disposition - very kind - easy to handle.

Heather Cooper, (first whip at the Bear Creek Hounds) has taken him out and whipped off him several times during Hound Exercises - she really likes Collin and thinks he has great potential. Asking $15K

Splish Splash 9 year old Percheron Paint TB, 15.3hh, Black and White mare. Splash has hunted for two seasons. She has hunted with the Bear Creek, Midland, Palm Beach and the Beaver Meadows Hunt. She is a lovely jumper and will go anywhere in the field. She is very comfortable and has been nick-named 'the couch'. Big enough to carry a man, and soft enough for a lady. Hunts in a snaffle. Splash is also a proven brood mare. $12000.00.

Scooper Dooper Do 2002 16.3 hand chestnut gelding 3/4 TB 1/4 Draft. Scooper is just starting his training. He was broke as a 4 year old and did nothing for 10 months. I bought Scooper from a man that was attending medical school and just had no time for Scooper, and being such a big boy it is just as well he has had the time to grow up. Scooper is currently working in the round pen and will begin trail riding and hound exercise in August of 2007. He will make a great field hunter or event horse. Scooper is very sweet and loves attention. He is good in the cross ties and loves his bath! This is a great project horse and his price will go up with training. He is currently in VA, beginning his event/hunter show career. Pictures of him jumping can be seen on www.equine.com ad number 841306 or click HERE. $14000.00

Hark Away - "Sully" is a 2003, 17.0, Percheron/TB, steel gray mare, that I bought in March 2009. She has had limited training and had shown in the tadpole division at a local event show. Sully is a nice size as she is not to heavy for a cross bred and is a nice flatter knee type mover. Sully loves to jump, when she sees the jump she goes to it. She has just started her cross country training and will begin hound exercise summer 2009. Look for her in the hunt field this fall !! 25,000.00

Sully has had a wonderful 2009/10 season. She began in the hilltoppers and quickly moved up to first flight. She is wonderful with the hounds, very careful in trappy areas, and jumps in perfect form, as she sails over the coops. Ridden by pros and the hubby no problems. She does have a wonderful bascule over the fences so if you are looking for a flat jumper she is not the one. She would however, easily cross over to the jumper ring for those who like to do some showing. Sully hunted all season, and traveled well with no soundness issues. She hunted with Aiken Hounds, Bear Creek, Belle Meade, Midland, Hardaway-Whitworth, Why Worry, and Shakerag she is a made field hunter that is also beautiful !!

Such a Steal - Steal is a 2003, big 15.2, steel gray, 3/4 TB/ 1/4 Percheron, mare. Steal is a beautiful mare, light in frame for a cross bred and has a beautiful face. She is a very good mover and jumper, she is a good enough mover/jumper to do the hunters. She was barely broke when I bought her in Dec 2008. Being the middle of hunt season I didn't have the time she needed to get going properly, so I sent her to a great professional and friend Jade Anderson (www.jadeandersoneventing.com) for the last 4 months. There Jade started her as if she had never been broke, which was the right thing to do. Steal is currently w,t,c in the arena, the trails, and has begun jumping small jumps 2'. She shows great promise to be an all around horse, that can compete in any English discipline.

Steal will be beginning hound exercise this summer (2009) and continue her cross country and dressage training. Steal will make a wonderful event prospect, hunter, or hunt horse. 10,000.00

Steal has matured a good bit over the 2009/10 hunt season. She did stay in the hilltopping group as she just wasn't maturing as quickly as I had hoped. She did quite well and was jumping coops in nice form and quiet. She is very good in trappy areas and goes any where in the flight. Steal will move up to first flight this season.

Fox Chase - Chase is a 2003, chestnut with Flaxen mane and tail, gelding, solid 16.1, Belgian/TB cross. Has hunted is first season second flight with Bear Creek, Midland, Mooreland, and Palm Beach. He has competed at the Palm Beach Hounds Hunter Pace, over fences and won his division. He is a very sensitive fellow and I feel would be better suited for a lady rider.

He has great potential to go into the eventing world, as he is very animated in his transitions and light in the hand. He is very brave and loves to jump. He is very square in front and behind over fences.

Chase ended the 2008/2009 hunt season whipping in to the Palm Beach, and did very well. He had to go out on his own in a strange territory, with palmettos as tall as 4 feet with pigs shooting out in front of us as we were running through them. He was looking at everything, but went through it all and was the first one to the hounds on that particular day, "What a good boy". He really tries to please. I would keep this horse for myself, however, I have 3 great hunt horses and really don't need another, but will be happy to keep him until the perfect rider comes along. 12,000.00

Black Booty - Due to other financial responsibilities Booty is sadly offered for sale.

Booty is a 16.1, black, 1999 mare, Clydesdale/TB cross. She has had 3 foals and been hunting for the last 3 seasons. She has packed a novice rider around who had never hunted before, as well as taught him how to jump coops, successfully. She has hunted with the Midland, Bear Creek, Mooreland, and the Shakerag. She will go in first or second flight, and has led the second flight with ease.

Booty is not mareish at all and can be ridden by anyone. She is child or husband safe. She can be turned out with geldings or mares and is great with the babies. Booty has never had any health problems, or lameness issues. 25,000.00 or possible lease available.

Southern Magic - "Magpie" Foaled April 1, 2007; Filly; Dam: QH Sire: TB/Percheron. Registered AWS Will mature gray and approx. 16.2 hds. Dead quiet; correct and sound. $6500.

A Cowgirl's Sunshine - We call her Abby. She is APHA registered mare. Stands 16.1hds and a proven broodmare with her palomino colt from this summer. She was foaled March 2001. She has been under saddle but we concentrated more on broodmare for her. I do believe she will make a nice trail horse/broodmare but not a competition or any intensive training type horse. $5000.

Care Bear 16.1 hand, Percheron Gelding, black/bay, 6 years old, 2002. Bear is a very gentle , kind, and comfortable fellow, he is light in frame for his breed and has plenty of go. He goes out with mares or geldings and loves the babies. He is very good on the trails, excellent in the trappy areas and doesn't pull. Bear has been on hound exercise all summer and hunted his first hunt with the Green Creek Hounds, in Tryon, summer hunt week, in August 2008, with about 60 in the field and never put a foot wrong. He is currently hilltopping as this is his first season. Bear's jumping will begin this fall.

Bear was kicked in the cap of the hock as a 5 year old. The injury caused a bone sequestrum and surgery was preformed to remove it, at Auburn University, Auburn, AL. The surgery was a great success and was given 9 months off to recover. Bear has been sound ever since, there is a bit of a blemish on the cap of the hock from the wound/incision. But no lameness at all, should vet clean. $7500.00

Bailey 16.2, Clyde/TB, mare, bay with some chrome, 5 years old, 2003. Bailey is a big, powerful, alpha girl. She started her riding career as a Dressage horse and decided that she liked the trails a bit more than the arena. She is dead quiet in the arena, spur and stick quiet, but perks up out on the trail. She enjoys her group trail rides and has been hound exercising all summer 2008.

Bailey went to her first hunt in Tryon, NC with the Green Creek Hounds summer hunt week in August 2008. She hunted 2 days, hilltopping, and was a super star. She handled the 60+ horse crowd no problem. At one point we has a reverse and no where to go as 70 hounds came right at us with the huntsman, who asked for everyone to stand still as he passed. I thought for sure we would have a squashed or kicked hound, as this was a great deal of pressure on a green field hunter. Good ole Bailey, dropped her head and gave a bit of a snort as the hounds passed all around and under her, and didn't move a foot...what a good girl !! She was excellent through the trappy areas, where the seasoned TB's wouldn't cross and she just looked and marched right through.

Bailey has started her jumping career and has taken to it like a duck to water. She loves it and shows great promise to be able to jump some big sticks. She is nice and square up front and behind. And she doesn't want to touch them !!

Bailey does have a bit of attitude and would not be appropriate for a timid rider, she doesn't do anything ugly, just a bit pushy and needs a bit of a crack of the stick when she decides she doesn't want to go out on her own. The good news is that attitude makes her tough and seems to be the type that will last forever. 10,000K neg.

pictures coming soon! Renoir Renny is a yearling filly, bay with an offset star and one hind sock, 3/4 TB, 1/8 paint, 1/8 Perch. She is out of Splish Splash by the thoroughbred stallion VanGo by Full Out (by Never Bend) out of Victorian Queen, bay, 16.2. Renny has a lovely personality, very sweet and gets along with everyone in the pasture. She is a lovely mover and built to jump. She should mature to 16.0-1, $5000.00

Foxfire - foaled 2003, 3/4 TB 1/4 Perch (out of "Nora" 1/2 TB 1/2 Perch x "Slew the Slewer" TB), 15.0 hand, liver chestnut. Foxy is a very attractive filly with a lot of potential as a show hunter, field hunter, or eventer. She is a lovely mover and should be a good jumper. She will begin hound exercise this summer and then be turned out for the winter. August 2007 - Foxy and Splish Splash are trail riding, crossing creek and jumping small logs on the trail. They have both begun hound exercise and have taken to it beautifully. Winter 07-08: Foxy has been hunting first flight in the non-jumping fields and has just begun her jumping career and loves it. She is now jumping everything she comes to in the woods!! Foxy has now hunted with Midland, Bear Creek, Shakerag, Palm Beach, Windy Hollow and the Four Winds hunts. She has been hunted by Julie as well as amateur lady riders and children. Price $8,000.00
